“We believe that bringing electric power to the people fuels progress. We’re strongly committed to delivering this aim,” said Mr. Omoboriowo II.

The forum brought together around two thousand international industry players in Africa’s power sector. The delegates came from 60 countries to discuss how to scale opportunity in Africa’s power sector.

Musicians were there too. Leading African artists Fuse ODG, Imaani and Afriquoi lit up the forum with their hit tracks at a special music concert sponsored by Genesis Energy.

Brand Communications supported Genesis Energy throughout the event. The agency provided photography, video production and social media coverage before, during and after the event. The team included

Zarina Banu, Stuart Odunsi, Charlotte Love, Candice South, Evelyn Omanukwe and Winta Afewerki-Abraha.

The hard work paid off. Mr. Omoboriowo II thanked the agency for their “simply brilliant” support and organisation on the night; “The Brand Communication team members were exceptional and their positive spirit was most encouraging.”
