Digital Digital Design User Experience (UX) User Interface Design (UI) Web & Mobile Development
Objective

To translate a successful printed publication into the digital environment with the aim of modernising the offering, providing enhanced functionality, and enabling easy sharing to overcome the distribution limitations of print.

We created

A dynamic new interface to showcase critical economic data for 41 African countries – offering intuitive navigation, bite-sized data visibility, and easily updatable ‘live’ graphs to capture data revisions immediately in graphic form.

Results

The completion of the Africa FICC website marks the realisation of a significant goal for the Ecobank team – the establishment of this publication as a critical go-to resource for investors and academics.

Together, the various elements of the interface were combined to deliver a compelling user experience, incorporating live graphs and tables, a quick-view country data sidebar, useful links section and more.

Africa FICC Website

Our SVG-based design system made it simple for Ecobank to add interactive, mobile optimised ‘live’ charts and graphs to the site.

We also featured a randomised content area (5 variants including copy snippet and sample graph) to serve as an entry point and interest generator for each subject.

Since 2012 Brandcomms has driven the evolution of this project from simple guide, to extended book format, and finally to digital iteration.
